On this page you’ll find everything about the Combat Card Game. Play it with the /game command or here.
The game does not support saving yet. Clearing cache will get rid of your progress.
Cards are the most important part of the game. Well, mainly because without them you wouldn’t be able to play the game.
At the beginning you start with these cards:
More cards can be gotten after battling. Different monsters will drop different cards, see below.
Not all cards can be gotten right now. You might want to keep the healing items active.
The game has a deck system. A deck can have 10-20 cards and only those cards will be used during battle.
A list of your cards and your deck can be seen after clicking the Collection button.
Cards also have rarities. White cards are all unobtainable, Silver cards are common cards and Gold cards are rare ones.
When you’re ready to battle, you can pick from 3 rooms:
Forest is the best room to start in. It’s the easiest to beat and a good way to learn how the game works.
Whenever you get better cards, Cave is a good room to grind more and better cards.
Castle is a challenging room to beat at start, but after you get few of the best cards, you should be able to beat it without any problem.
Each location has 3 different “difficulties”. Each difficulty has a different monster(s).

Different cards do different things. What they do can be seen at the bottom of the card. First it is good to know who will the cards affect,
One Enemy
All Enemies
All Other Enemies (used with One Enemy)
You
One Ally
All Allies
All Other Allies (used with You or One Ally)
and then what they do.
Heal
Damage
Give Positive Heart Token
Give Positive Power Token
Give Positive Armour Token
Give Negative Heart Token
Give Negative Power Token
Give Negative Armour Token
Remove all Positive Tokens
Remove all Negative Tokens
Tokens are also a very important part of the game. When a player or monster has more than 1 token, they’ll stack up until the tokens are 5 in total. If there’s more than 5 tokens in a stack, they’ll be discarded without being used until there are 5 left.
Heart Tokens will either give HP or deal damage when they’re discarded.
Power Tokens will make the player/monster that has the token deal more or less damage.
Armour Tokens will make the player/monster that has the token take less or more damage from “Damage” attacks. The token does not work for Heart Tokens.
Heart and Armour Tokens will get discarded after enemy attack (remember that you’re monster’s enemy). Power Tokens will get discarded after team attack.
Alright, it’s time to battle.
Whenever you enter battle, this is how it’ll look like. The Forest has 2 different styles, the Cave will always look the same, and the Castle has 2 styles + a throne room only used in the Snow King battle.
The game starts with all of your active cards shuffled in a deck, and 3 top cards shown. Above you can see your critter, your HP and on the right is your token table.
In the middle of the screen, you can see the monsters you’re battling, their HP right under them and their token table which is located right in between.
At the bottom, you have a retreat (chicken) button.
The game is started by dragging one of your cards onto either the monster(s) or yourself, depending on how the card can be used.
If you for example want to use the Hammer Time card, you have to drag it onto one of the monsters. It’ll then deal 1 damage point to the monster, unless a token changes that.
If a card gives a token, it’ll go to the player’s or monster’s token table.
The game is won by killing all of the monsters, and is lost by dying.
If you win a game, you will be awarded some coins and sometimes a card or two. Different monsters can drop different cards, here are what they can drop. (may not be 100% accurate)
Bugs
- Using the /game command when the game is already loaded refreshes the game, but the music doesn’t stop.
- Monsters die but don’t disappear if killed with a negative Heart Token. Cards can still be used on those monsters.
- Using the /game command before Box Critters loads in will show a Unity error, but you can just click OK and continue playing.
- The game has issues loading in on devices running iOS 13.3, fix that by updating your device.
- Cards on the Victory screen are draggable.
- Right and left clicking a card at the same time will make it unusable. Can also happen randomly on mobile devices.
- Other random graphical issues.
